Moments from the water

The traditional longtail boat is the icon of Krabi — a hand-built wooden hull, a tall carved bow wrapped in coloured ribbons, and a silhouette that belongs in every photo of these islands. Ours are fitted out with cushions, curtains and a picnic deck, so the boat itself becomes the backdrop: in the lagoons, on the sandbars and against the limestone cliffs, exactly as our guests see it.
